# Check your quota

> Returns how many products of your monthly quota you have used in the current calendar month, your monthly limit, and when your API key expires. Checking the quota does not count against it.

`GET https://api.amzconnect.io/v1/check/quota`

## Authentication

Include an `Authorization` header with the value `Bearer {YOUR_API_KEY}`. You can retrieve your API key from your dashboard.

## Example request

```bash
curl --request GET \
  --url https://api.amzconnect.io/v1/check/quota \
  --header 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY'
```

## Responses

### `200`

`api_usage_count` is the number of products counted against your quota in the current month, and `api_usage_limit` is your monthly product quota. `api_usage_expiry` is the date your API key expires (format `YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS`), or `null` if it has no expiry date. After that date, product lookups, searches and the connection test are rejected with `expired_key`; this quota check still answers. `api_usage_free_limit` is always `0`. An unknown API key is not rejected: every field is `0`.

Example `valid_key`:

```json
{
  "api_usage_count": 2,
  "api_usage_expiry": "2027-06-01 09:01:54",
  "api_usage_free_limit": 0,
  "api_usage_limit": 100
}
```

Example `unknown_key`:

```json
{
  "api_usage_count": 0,
  "api_usage_expiry": 0,
  "api_usage_free_limit": 0,
  "api_usage_limit": 0
}
```
